Miami Heat taking on Philadelphia 76ers: More NBA Games

Philadelphia 76ers the Atlantic Division leading team is looking for their fifth straight victory this Friday night hosting against the Miami Heat. The 76ers (16-6) continued a 74-69 victory against Orlando Magic last Monday by beating off the East-leading Chicago Bulls 98-82 last Wednesday. The 76ers won their 14 games by a margin of at least 10 points and lead the NBA giving an average of 85.9 points.

The only questionable part of their solid start is their four wins against a team with an above 50% record. Andre Iguodala, scored 19 points and had nine rebounds against the Bulls makes up up one of the solid line up for the 76ers.

Meanwhile the Miami Heat, who beat off the 7th seeded 76ers in the first round of last year's playoffs going to the NBA finals, also parade their 5 game winning streak but suffered a loss with a 105-97 against the Milwaukee Bucks last Wednesday. Miami (16-6) led by 13 over the Bucks at halftime but was outscored 58-37 on the last 2 quarters.

LeBron James on that game scored a season-high 40 points which includes 24 in the first quarter and set an NBA high for most points in a quarter. Dwyane Wade added also 23 on that game. The Heat didn't have much trouble building on a seven-point halftime lead in their 113-92 victory over the 76ers on Jan. 21 despite playing without an injured Wade.
