Cotto won over Margarito via 10th round TKO

Miguel Cotto successfully defended his WBA Junior Middleweight belt against Antonio Margarito via 10th round TKO. On the early rounds Cotto showed a superb counter punching style and got a big lead during the first half of the fight. But Margarito who refuse to surrender gives Cotto some fight he has been doing on his entire career.

After the 10th round

ringside physician looked into Margarito's surgically-repaired eye because it has been shut off by Cotto's punches. And after looking into it the physician decided to halt the game to prevent more damages that might occur on Margarito's eye. Margarito begged to continue but the ruling was official and for his own good also.
