The Detroit Red Wings was on its longest winning streak this season at seven games after winning over Buffalo Sabres last Friday. Today they'll try to make it eight games when they go to the Pepsi Center to battle against the Colorado Avalanche. The red Wings has outscored opponents 28-12 over its last seven games, and during that stretch have won just one game by a one-goal margin. That game was the 3-2 shootout victory over the Boston Bruins that halt their 10-game winning streak.
Colorado on the other hand struggled mightily in the month of November, going only 4-10-1, but they prove that they can still win on their last 2 games. And that includes a 3-2 shootout victory over the St. Louis Blues in their last outing. They're gaining a little bit of confidence, and stopping the seven-game winning streak of the Red Wings is already an accomplishment for the entire team.

Minnesota Wild vs Anaheim Ducks
This is now the time for Minnesota Wild to prove that the ownership of the Western Conference’s best record is not a fluke. The Wild took care of its business at home and the reason this club is where right now is its ability to gather points on the road. The team is 6-3-2 on the road and is going to play the next five contests away from Xcel Energy Center. That starts tonight against the Anaheim Ducks.
