Newly crowned WBA & IBF Jr. Welterweight champion Lamont Peterson got a very closed win against Amir Khan held at the Convention Center, Washington, District of Columbia, United States. Khan dropped Peterson earlier but Peterson finished strong with Khan having been deducted 2 points from successively pushing and shoving Peterson. As what we have seen Khan can't take Peterson's pressure fighting that caught him with some solid punches. With that Khan forced to pushed and shoved Peterson on the later rounds.
Without the 2 point deduction Khan could've won via unanimous decision with a score from judges: 113-114, 116-111, 113-114 all for Khan. But with the 2 point deductions as advised by the referee the official scorecards came this way:

Note:
Some spectators thought that Peterson got a hometown decision and Khan has been robbed.
